My Micro-Realism Tattoo Named Tattoo of the Week
Well-known US tattoo artist Pony Lawson picked my micro-realism tiger tattoo as tattoo of the week on his YouTube show Tattoo Critiques. The show reviews work sent in by artists from all over the world, so this recognition means a lot to me.
Why does this recognition matter?
Work on the show is judged strictly and professionally: technique, contrast and composition. I believe the details and technique stood out most – exactly what I consider most important in micro-realism.
When I create a tattoo, I take many things into account: your idea, the placement, the skin, the ink and the equipment. It is not an easy process, but when everything comes together, the result brings joy for years.
What does it mean for you?
I give every tattoo the same attention to detail – from a small symbol to a full sleeve. My work has also been featured in Inked, Tattoo Life, Il Tatuaggio and inkppl, and in 2022 I won 1st place (Small Black & Grey) at the Villain Arts convention in Denver.
