ABOUT JARIS INK BOOKING PROCESS & POLICIES

“HOW DO I REQUEST AN APPOINTMENT?”

To request an appointment, please fill out the online tattoo request form. Please note: that a non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

“HOW DO I SEND MY DEPOSIT?”

Once your appointment date is set, you will be emailed a link to send your non-refundable deposit. Please promptly submit your non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment.

“WHEN IS THE DEPOSIT DUE?"

The non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking to secure the appointment. Due to high demand, appointments cannot be held without a non-refundable deposit.

“DOES THE DEPOSIT GO TOWARDS THE COST OF THE TATTOO?”

YES – the non-refundable deposit will go towards the final cost of the tattoo at the final appointment, as long as no appointments are missed, cancelled, or rescheduled on short notice. See deposit policy for more info.

“ARE DEPOSITS REFUNDABLE?”

Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable but will go towards the final cost of the tattoo as long as no appointments are missed or cancelled. If you need to reschedule your appointment for any reason, there will be no additional deposit required if you contact us at least 72 hours prior to your appointment time. If you miss your appointment, cancel or ask to reschedule on short notice, you will greatly inconvenience your artist and you will forfeit your non-refundable deposit. We respect and value your time, and we ask that you do the same for us. See deposit policy for more info.

“WILL I BE ABLE TO RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT IF SOMETHING COMES UP?”

Yes – As long as we are contacted at least 72 hours prior to the appointment, we will accommodate up to two rescheduling requests. Third and subsequent requests to reschedule your project will be considered solely at the discretion of the artist and may require an additional deposit. Rates are subject to change upon rescheduling multiple times or beyond a year from the original date. We respect and value your time, and we ask that you do the same for us. “CAN I GIVE MY APPOINTMENT TO SOMEONE ELSE?”

No – appointments and deposits are non-transferable. The artist must approve all projects before they are scheduled. All new clients must fill out an online tattoo request form to request an appointment. If something comes up and you would like to reschedule, please contact us. See deposit policy for more info.

“I BOOKED AN APPOINTMENT, BUT I NOW WANT SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN WHAT I SAID I WANTED WHEN BOOKING THE APPOINTMENT – IS THAT OK?”

The artist must approve each project before booking. Your appointment and deposit are only for the project that the artist has agreed to at the time of booking. If you later decide that you would like to cancel the initial project, and would instead like something very different than what was agreed upon at the time of booking, you will risk forfeiting your non-refundable deposit unless the artist approves of the new project. The artist spends time preparing materials specifically for your project prior to your appointment, so please do not wait until the day of your appointment to let us know that you have changed your mind. Please contact us as soon as possible to let us know what you have in mind and we can discuss whether or not Jaris Ink is the right artist for the new project.

“HOW MUCH IS A TATTOO? WHAT IS THE RATE?”

Rates may vary depending on size and detail. Please submit an inquiry for more information.

“WHEN CAN I EXPECT A RESPONSE?”

It takes time to adequately review and respond to each inquiry. But we will reach out to you as soon as possible. You will receive a response typically within 2-4 workdays. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please be sure to provide your correct email address on the consultation form or we will be unable to send a response.

“I DON’T LIKE EMAIL – CAN I CALL OR STOP BY?”

Jaris Ink takes his appointments only by email or Instagram. To uphold excellent customer service, email is the preferred method of communication. To request an appointment, please visit the booking page.

“CAN I COME IN FOR A CONSULTATION?”

Due to the travelling, consultations are via email & Instagram only. This type of communication keeps everything in writing, which helps keep everyone on the same page throughout the booking process, and you may easily reach the artist at any time with any questions or concerns.

“WHERE IS JARIS INK LOCATED?”

Jaris Ink travels around the world to guest spots. For travel dates and locations, visit his Instagram page.

“WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT? SHOULD I BRING ANYTHING? CAN I BRING A FRIEND? ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?”

“DO I HAVE TO TIP THE ARTIST? HOW MUCH DO PEOPLE USUALLY TIP?”

Tipping is optional but always appreciated! If you are unsure how much to tip, 10-20% is standard for personal service, or whatever you feel comfortable with ⚡️
